Fee: $100 per 2 hour group consultation, $170 per hour for individual consultation. Please contact me to set up an appointment in person, via phone or skype.
As an EMDRIA-Approved Consultant, consultation hours can count towards Certification in EMDR. Therapists who have completed an EMDRIA-approved training must receive 20 additional hours of consultation from an EMDRIA-approved consultant in order to be certified. Consultation hours can include 10 hours of group and 10 hours of individual consultation.
The consultation groups provide therapists with the opportunity to ask questions, get help with challenging cases, clarify protocols and procedures, assist with case conceptualization, resource development and installation, and target sequencing. The groups are an important support and resource to EMDR therapists following their training helping to develop their skills and confidence. I ask consultees to include client history, case conceptualization and session process notes as well as any questions they might have when preparing cases to present. This preparation helps consultees clarify their thinking and enables me to understand how best to advise them.
